Ewiket Lehibret

The Ethiopian expression "ewiket lehibret" means "knowledge for everyone", and the organisation "Ewiket Lehibret Support Association" (in short ELSA) is an internationally recognised NGO, formed by individuals, with the purpose of supporting good quality school constructions in Ethiopia.
The aim is to provide sound schooling to as many children as possible, so as to ensure economic and democratic progress for the country.

ANNUAL REPORT

2012 has been a wonderful year, especially because of the education centre at Bahir Dar, plus a record number of graduates from the cooking school in Addis Ababa.

2011 was a year with exciting results and important milestones, especially the inauguration of the first phase of our largest project to date, which also is our first project outside the capital Addis Ababa, namely in Bahir Dar in the northern Ethiopia. Read annual report 2011 here
